500 Grams of yellow split pea.Soak them overnight, in cold water from the tap.Next morning, change the water, and leave it for an hour.Drain the water.Boil in 6 pints of water, adjust the heat so it doesn't boil over.Boil for 2-3 hours.Heat some Cumin seeds in a dry pan, untill they start jumping.Put them in.Add some hot water if you want it thinner.After searving, add salt for taste.Eat with, Roti, rice, curry, or as it is :)
