A classic dessert at any Churrascaria, Cream of Papaya is not only delicious but also aids digestion as Papaya contains enzymes which soften and break down red meat. Cuca's Tip: Supermarkets are the worse place to buy ripe fruit. Try your local street market or Indian grocery. Ingredients and preparation:Cut the papaya in half and gently scrape off the seeds with a spoon. Peel and chop one half and chuck into a blender with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream. Beat for one minute and pour into a small glass bowl. To make it healthier, add more Papaya and less ice cream.
